Remember the gestural UI and spatial operating environments in Minority Report and Iron Man? Tom Cruise and Tony Stark interacting with their computers using hand movements? That was designed by John Underkoffler, founder of Oblong and Oblong is the company bringing that tech to market.
Marie Kondo meets Tony Stark.
Oblong’s marketing department was looking for a digital agency to work more closely and responsively with their in-house team than their current big-end-of-town agency. They had a static website that had been built successively by various vendors and departments that had become fragmented and frankly a mess. We Marie Kondo’ed the hell out of that site, performing an extensive codebase cleanup and refactoring. We then migrated it to a CMS so they could update and maintain the site by themselves.
Human/human interaction.
After site relaunch, Code Rodeo continued to build custom microsites and web apps for Oblong, bringing a hands on approach to supporting the launch of Mezzanine, their enterprise meeting room solution that brought human/machine interaction into conference rooms worldwide.
